Just a bit of steep hiking gets you access to this wonderful lookout over Five Ponds Wilderness. This is a moderate hike in its own right, or a great side trip for those thru-hiking the Cranberry 50.

High Falls is a mighty cascade on the Oswegatchie River. There are a couple of first-come, first-serve lean-tos near the river shore, and a handful of primitive campsites scattered along the access trail to the falls and to the west along the main trail.

The top of this mountain offers a nice peek at Cranberry Lake to the south and southwest, but the best views are really on the mountains southerly slopes. This makes a nice side trip from the Cranberry 50 loop, or a worthy destination in and of itself.

Technically a hamlet, this little town sits right on the shores of Cranberry Lake and even has a small public beach: Gilbert Beach. If you're hiking the nearby Cranberry 50 trail, there is a small grocery store here that you can use to resupply.

The Arab Mountain Fire Observation Station is a fire tower situated at the end of the Arab Mountain Trail at the top of Arab Mountain. You get 360 degree views from the top of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and lakes, as long as you summit on a clear day.
