Lake Wielkie Gacno is a unique lobelia lake in the Tuchola Forest, known for its clear waters and distinctive vegetation, such as lake lobelia and quillwort. Despite the lack of fish, it attracts tourists with a heart-shaped wooden pier and a 6.6-kilometer-long nature trail. Around the lake, visitors can observe rare plant species, as well as animals and birds.

The town of Charzykowy (German: Müskendorf) is located on Lake Charzykowskie (southeastern shore), which is part of the Bory Tucholskie National Park. The town is a tourist center with approximately 2,000 inhabitants.

There are many bike trails in the area leading through the forests and along the lake shore, which allows for a peaceful exploration of the region. In the town of Charzykowy itself, there is a modern marina, and in the summer, numerous regattas and outdoor events take place here. Cyclists should prepare for mixed surfaces, from asphalt to forest sections, so a trekking or cross bike will be the best choice.
