This is a well equipped park with sports fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, a splash pad, and restrooms. The Union Pacific Rail Trail runs through the park as well, so it's well connected to the rest of the city.

The Union Pacific Railroad Trail is a multiuse trail that runs alongside active railroad tracks. The path is fully paved and passes through several parks.

Railroad Pass is a pretty barren mountain pass that sits at 2,358 feet (719 meters) in the Black Hills of the River Mountains near Henderson, Nevada. The busy I-11 runs through the pass, but by bike, you can do it on Dawson Avenue or the Union Pacific Railroad Trail running adjacent to it. Failing that, there is the River Mountains Loop Trail on the other side of the I-11.

This short, but steep, climb packs and punch and is a great place to get the blood moving and lungs pumping on the south side of town.

Caesar's is a 3.5 mile mountain biking trail in the northwest corner of the Bootleg Canyon Area. This trail is usually accessed via Earnie's or Mother, and is often completed as part of the larger Railroad Loop. This trail is loose, rocky, and dry and is quite the workout!

This trailhead leads to the northern end of the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area. It is an easy access point for the McCullough Hills Trail and has parking available at the trailhead.

The western section of this magnificent loop trail is the most accessible due to its proximity to Henderson, and offer good views of Vegas all along. This is a really great non-motorized trail that goes all around the River Mountains. Horseback riding is allowed in some sections and hikers and runners can cluster in parts of it, but it is mostly used by cyclists, as it is truly a pleasure to ride, which doesn't mean it isn't also quite challenging, and the heat must be taken into account during certain times of the year!
