First up the steep, bumpy Maltzanstraße past the old Russian barracks, then continue along an even steeper forest trail to the summit. Once you reach the top, a meadow with benches and the Heroes' Grove awaits you.

It is beautifully hilly here at the southern end of the lake.

you can only get here on foot, there is no cable car here. It's not that crowded either

Although there are no 3,000m peaks here, you can still work up a sweat on the summit trail. But the hardships are rewarded with great views.

Be sure to check out the ski jump! For 2 euros you can also go up and on the way up there is a kind of small museum with photos and reports.
