For me it is one of the nicest refuges in the area, small and cozy.

Magnificent church of Sant Romà de la Clusa in an unbeatable setting, with spectacular views of the Serra del Catllaràs. It belongs to the municipality of Castell de l'Areny, and to get there you can go from the track that leaves the town of Vilada, it's about 10km uphill with some quite demanding sections. The path that follows, cut in the rock, hangs over deep precipices cut by the Clusa stream. Next door is the manor house of the same name. The Mirador is also located a few meters below. Also highly recommended.

The Catllaràs chalet is a curious modernist building built by Gaudí and located in the mountain range of the same name. It is surprising for its peculiar shape and architectural details that correspond to the naturalistic stage of the famous Catalan architect.

It is a short ascent with a very attractive drop in altitude that runs between the La Palomera forest and the green meadows of the Ensija plateau. This refuge is in an idyllic enclave and perfect for ascents to initiation summits to the mountain

In September 1964, the Federation of Hiking Entities of Catalonia – then known as the Catalan Mountaineering Federation – inaugurated the Serra d’Ensija refuge, its eleventh mountain facility at that time. It followed the same architectural structure as the Sant Jordi and Estanys de la Pera refuges. Located in a magnificent corner surrounded by meadows, very close to its highest point in the Ensija range, Cap de la Gallina Pelada (2,321 m), it is an ideal facility both for spending the night and for stopping for a bite to eat. The access paths through the Llobateres ravine and Font Freda are a delight. It is also a magnificent place for winter snowshoe hiking, with mostly rounded mountain profiles, ideal for practicing this mountain discipline. A crossing point for the Tora Blava traverse, you can also make several mountain ski excursions. Ensija is the only guarded refuge in this pre-Pyrenean mountain range, which hides many hidden treasures. Now it's just a matter of discovering them. Services at the refuge: - Biomass stove - Internet (with restrictions on use) - Blankets - Food and drinks - WC in the absence of a guard: - 4 places in concrete bunks.

Ground floor building, about 80 m to the N. of the Chalet, with fireplace and wooden platform where you can sleep. The state of abandonment is considerable but in case of need it can be a good shelter.
