Lake Svartediket is picturesquely nestled between dense forests and the mountains surrounding Bergen. As an important drinking water reservoir for the city, the lake is surrounded by pristine nature and exudes a special sense of tranquility. A well-maintained path runs along the shore and is perfect for a relaxing stroll or as part of a hike toward Fløyen or Ulriken. The reflections of the surrounding mountains in the clear water make Lake Svartediket a popular photo subject and an ideal place to linger.

Skomakerdiket is just a short run from the Fløyen funicular station. In fact, runners with little ones will be pleased to hear that it's reachable with a stroller. It's an idyllic little lake.

As well as a beautiful lake to run around Revurtjernet is also rich in birdlife. The lake earned its name thanks to the foxes that can sometimes be spotted on its banks.
