A tour to Blüemlismatt is always worthwhile. If the visibility is good, you can see the entire Alpine panorama. From Blüemlismatt, bikers can continue to the first Jura mountain range. Restaurant Blüemlismatt is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In about 2.5 hours you can take a wonderful hike from the zoo along the Kobold Trail to Aspisee. I have rarely walked through such a pretty forest. In many places you feel like you are in a fairytale book. Lots of moss, special trees and wonderful winding paths. After a rainy day you run the risk of getting wet feet on some sections of the route ;-)

"Tonis Hut" The bookster Anton Fey, called just "Toni" by his neighbors, did his border service in the Pruntruterzipfel during the First World War. Even after that, he and his workmates always walked across the beautiful Jura heights to the French border area, only to return home on Sunday evening full of many impressions and moods. During this time, the construction of a mountain hut on the eastern rock face on the Rye falls in 940 meters above sea level. The hut was erected on November 14, 1935. Toni was always drawn to the place where he played his melodies on Sunday morning as well as in the evening with his self-made alphorn. Everyone knew that Toni was staying in his hut, which is still privately owned today. The open shelter on the east side is open to the public. With the necessary respect for this enchanting place, it will remain a place of power for many hikers for a long time to come.
