Created in the 1970s, Lake Mesnil adjoins Lake Deux Amants. This artificial body of water is popular for outdoor activities. A cycle path has been created to circle the lake, in a peaceful setting away from traffic.

This Harten, which is the size of a small park, is a total work of art. I am not judging it from a botanical perspective, but as someone who paints under the influence of impressionism. Later, the pond was enlarged to its current size. The water garden is asymmetrical and curved. Monet was inspired by Japanese gardens, which he knew from prints. The painter was a passionate collector of Japanese woodcuts.

A wonderful garden that, due to its size, could actually be described as a park. Due to the crowds, it is advisable to get tickets online.
