Zarasų krašto muziejaus kiemelyje (buvusiame KGB kalėjimo kieme) iškilusi beveik 3 metrų aukščio betoninė skulptūra „Liudytoja“ yra vienas drąsiausių šiuolaikinio meno objektų regione. Kūrinys vaizduoja nuogą senstančios moters figūrą, simbolizuojančią žmogaus orumą ir išlikimą prievartos akivaizdoje. Skulptūra iškart tapo diskusijų centru: dėl savo atviros raiškos ji sulaukė itin kontroversiškų reakcijų, o 2025 m. net buvo padegta ir apgadinta, tačiau netrukus restauruota. Tai emociškai stipri stotelė, kviečianti susimąstyti apie istoriją ir netobulo kūno grožį.

The Latvian–Lithuanian state border is an interstate border between Latvia and Lithuania. It is an internal border of the European Union and the Schengen Area. In 1921, the Lithuanian–Latvian Border Treaty was signed, according to which Latvia received Aknysta and Budbergis parishes, and Lithuania received Palanga parishes and part of Rucava parish. In 1993, this border was restored in accordance with the 1921 treaty.

The sculpture is dedicated to the memory of the participants in the freedom struggles of the Zarasai district. The granite sculpture is a bound Angel cutting through the shackles with a sword. Its author is Gintaris Juozas Česiūnas. This monument is dedicated to the victims and dead Zarasai residents who fought for the freedom of Lithuania.

One of the pearls of the interwar Zarasai wooden architecture, one of the more striking examples of the interwar resort architecture. The building was not rented out to accommodate tourists, but at one time it was rented out to a school, later a military commissariat operated in this building. It is likely that the building was designed and built for himself and his brother by the architect Feliksas Bielinskis, who also designed the teachers' villa in Zarasai. St. Turmant In the Church of the Heart of Jesus, services are held in Lithuanian and Polish. in 1928 the current wooden church was built, and the parish was founded in 1945. The church has a rectangular plan, with a tower, a low lateral sacristy. The churchyard fence is made of wooden barrels.

Here was built a chapel which shows the importance of this pilgrimage site. The chapel of the Apparition of St. Virgin Mary in Kvintiškės was sanctified in summer 2014 by Bishop Emeritus Jonas Kauneckas. This chapel has extraordinary form – it looks like the Pope’s Mitre. Apparition place of St. Virgin Mary is like the Hill of Crosses, because it is full of crosses which are in various forms. It is said that the water of Ilgis Lake possesses healing properties; therefore, people take water from this lake. Every year on 30 of June in the apparition place near Ilgis Lake is an important feast to honor St. Virgin Mary.

The monument symbolizes and reminds both passers-by and passers-by that Zarasai has had as many as four names in more than 500 years.
