On the south side of the Höga Kusten Bridge, there is also supposed to be a view of the bridge from a former ferry pier.

The mighty and beautiful bridge is considered Sweden's Golden Gate Bridge. It spans the delta of the Ångermanälven. The maximum span of the bridge is 1,210 m, making it almost as long as the Golden Gate Bridge (1,280 m). Its clearance height is 40 m, the total height is 186 m and the total length is 1,867 m. The bridge is 17.8 m wide. The bridge was opened in 1997.

Great view of Höga Kusten, the longest suspension bridge in Sweden. There are picnic tables view great view. Hotel with restaurants, toilets, tourist information and shops with souvenirs and other things.

Great place to park the car if you want to walk the Höga Kustenleden. We parked it there for a week and took bus 50 from Örnsköldvik back to the parking lot.
