The views from the top are impressive. The difference in altitude from Ardanaz, almost 800 meters. A marvel.

At the top of this hill there was a Roman camp of a cohort of legionaries. These were Sertorians, supporters of Quinto Sertorio, who was Cayo Mario's right-hand man in Mario's civil war against Sulla. Pompey, his enemy, was installed in Pamplona. Sertorio, for his part, had his headquarters in Huesca. We are in the first century BC.

This humble but picturesque hermitage is located in the heart of the Montes de Valdorba and on the top of Cerro Pelaio at 959 meters above sea level.

To get to the top you can choose a wide variety of paths, each one with its technical difficulty but surely with any of them you will enjoy the journey and especially the views. Coming from Elorz, the GR 220 path is impassable in sections, I do not recommend going along it, besides that it is a path for walkers and it can be somewhat crowded.

Beautiful views towards the Higa de Monreal (Elomendi). This panoramic point is located on the side of the road next to the Monreal Raft.

With an altitude of 1,361 meters above sea level, Peña Itzaga is a panoramic point par excellence that you can stop visiting. With the possibility of making a circular route through several alternative paths with different degrees of difficulty, it is an ideal route if what you are looking for are some beautiful panoramic photos and enjoy a wonderful landscape.
