A beautifully situated lake in the woods. The bench has seen better days.

There are many small dog bathing areas and a larger bathing area with a bench. .

The north bank with the mouth of the Bockseebach has a perfect sun orientation towards the Arenholzer Lake. The idyllic path leads slightly elevated along the lake shore.

The "Robbers' Cave" is located in the Idstedt Forest south of the town of Idstedt. Coming from Schleswig, it is located 150 meters behind the "Wilhelmslust" junction on the right-hand side of the road. The Idstedt Robbers' Cave is one of the few passage graves in Schleswig-Holstein that is still in good condition. It consists of a chamber and a structurally separated passage. The Neolithic megalithic structure dates from the Funnel Beaker culture and was built between 3,500 and 2,800 BC. To this day, it has not been proven whether robbers ever stayed inside the cave.

Small piers lead directly to the water. Ideal for a refreshing swim. Hiking trails right along the shore.

Very pleasant route over the lowland of a moor ditch that connects the Idstedter with the Arenholzer See.

A sign rightly warns: “Enter the hiking trail at your own risk! Due to the persistent rainfall, the path is very muddy and difficult to pass!”
