Castildetierra is an impressive geological formation located in the Bardenas Reales Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve, in southeastern Navarre. This formation, known as "cabezo," is the result of differential erosion, where the upper layers of more resistant materials, such as limestone and sandstone, protect the lower layers of softer clay. The semi-desert landscape of the Bardenas Reales has been the setting for several film and television productions, including the series "Game of Thrones."
