The panoramic views from the top are spectacular

It is a beautiful place and well worth it.

Castro Valnera is a beautiful, formidable mountain with its 1,718 meters. It is the highest in the eastern sector of the Cantabrian mountain range.

The lookout is near the road. and from there there are very beautiful landscapes. You can see a huge waterfall that flows into the Asón river. The photos are small with reality. It really is a wonder to watch.

In each horseshoe of the road you will have a panoramic point towards the imposing waterfall of more than 70 meters that physically marks the source of the Asón river. A wonderful landscape that deserves a few minutes to enjoy it.

Both the waterfall and the environment that surrounds it are simply wonderful. Easily accessible, this waterfall is a waterfall of about 70 meters with a natural pool at its feet. A true paradise that deserves to be visited at any time of the year, although it is recommended in spring-summer.

A good place to recharge your batteries on the Asón river trail

Excellent cavity, easily accessible, at least to some extent. I had the front and even so I did not enter more than a few meters, due to the wet terrain and the very strong wind that came from the interior.
