꽤 슬픈 광경이지만, 약간의 역사적 지식과 함께라면 상상력을 자극하는 놀라운 경험이 될 것입니다.

Originally a senatorial building, it served as a hospital during World War II. After the war, it was taken over by the Russians and later by the Ministry of Security. Currently, it houses the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.

The ruins of the castle in Złocieniec, rising on a slope above the Drawa River, are the remains of a medieval stronghold built in the 14th century by the von Wedel family. Over the centuries, the castle was rebuilt many times, losing its defensive character and changing into a Renaissance palace. It survived World War II in its entirety, but in the post-war years it was abandoned and destroyed. Today, you can admire the Gothic cellars and the castle park with a historic alley of elms.

Tip of the land going into the lake. View on both sides with scenic trees. Great for sunrise in the hammock. Access with gravel or mtb. Rather hard with few fallen trees and bumps but just 200m away from the main forest road.

Concrete construction, popular in Polish cities, did not reach Złocieniec and we can still enjoy a beautiful, green market square here. The urban layout of Złocieniec, including the market square, has not been changed since its foundation in 1333.
