The waters of the Ilhéou waterfall come from underground emanations and flow into the void through a hole naturally dug in the cliff. The surroundings of the waterfall are overhanging its point of fall. From a distance, it gives the impression that the waters return directly underground, to the heart of the mountain. Be careful when approaching, the access is a little steep on both sides of the gave.
