The absolute highlight of the area: from the top, you have a wide and spectacular panoramic view of the landscape and coast. The best way to explore the area is by hiking down to the beach.

Possibly the first man ever to cross the Northwest Passage (a sea lane between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the Arctic Ocean) via dog sled, Knud Rasmussen (1879–1933) is considered a pioneer in polar exploration and anthropology. This was his former home and it is now a museum.

Vejrhøj marks the highest point on the elongated hill, Vejrhøjbuen, one of three hill arches in Odsherred. These are terminal moraines that were formed during the last ice age when the glaciers pushed the ground in front of them. They are one of the best known examples of this special type of ice age landscape in Europe. The burial mound dates from the Bronze Age and is still shrouded in mystery as it has not yet been excavated by archaeologists or plundered by grave robbers. It is due to the special landscape and cultural-historical significance of Vejrhøj that the site was named Denmark's first UNESCO Global Geopark. In the area around Vejrhøj there are several signposted hiking routes and good parking facilities. The largest parking lot is at "Vraget". From there a steep path leads up to the burial mound. https://www.opdagdanmark.dk/de/oplevelser/vejrhoej/

Concrete ship Brøns Odde (Kattegat, Sjællands Odde, Zealand, Denmark) – The wreck of the Brøns Odde has been lying off the coast of Sjællands Odde, south of the Gniben headland, in the Kattegat, more precisely in the Hesselø Bay, since December 29, 1947. What is special about the stranded ship, which was once 41 meters long and 7 meters wide, is that it was not made of steel, iron, wood, etc., but was built in 1944 from reinforced concrete and that it did not have its own engine, but was towed by other ships. If you like, a trailer not for trucks but for cargo ships.

In a large area of three thousand hectares, which is now at peace, it survives at least the convention that Saxophone nées in his crown. The drejer sig bl.a. about the conquest in 1076, when Harald was killed after Svend Estridsen and in 1104 when Erik Ejegod was killed, and the three brothers Ubbe and Niels were killed. On a three-hectare moorland area, which is now a nature reserve, a memorial stone was erected to commemorate the royal elections that Saxo mentions in his chronicle. These include the election of the king in 1076, when Harald was crowned after the death of Svein Estridsen, and in 1104, when Erik Ejegod had died and a choice had to be made between the brothers Ubbe and Niels. Vejrhøj is located in Odsherred and is one of Zealand's most impressive burial mounds. Its top lifts you 121 meters above sea level and is Zealand's third highest point (the highest is Gyldenløves Høj with 125.5 meters). If you climb the historic burial mound, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of Sejerøbugten, Lammefjorden and the whole of Odsherred.
