This is the Church of the Incarnation of MonteFrio

The Church of La Encarnación is one of the most prominent monuments in Montefrío, a town located in the region of Loja, in the province of Granada. This baroque-style church was built in the 18th century and stands out for its white stone façade, its spacious interior with three naves and its impressive main altarpiece made of carved and gilded wood. Furthermore, from its location on the hill, it offers spectacular views of the town and its surroundings.

Located on the outskirts of town, the viewpoint offers a great view of Montefrío and its well-known rocky mountain where the impregnable castle from the Nasrid period stands.

Iznájar's location on a small cape surrounded by water makes it a place of great scenic value. The entire town has infinite viewpoints that make us enjoy the views of the Genil River and the reservoir. Passing through Iznájar, it is worth getting lost in its narrow streets and, above all, seeing the Patio de las Comedias, full of blue pots.

From Puente Fernández we can see the Genil River that feeds the Iznájar Reservoir and part of the old Molinillo bridge, which is covered when the water level is high.

On a hill watching over its reservoir is this beautiful town with white houses and narrow, steep streets crowned by a singular castle of Arab construction. In the 19th century this place was one of the cradles of the popular uprisings part of the movement called by some as "indigenous socialism".

Fed by the Genil River, this is the largest reservoir in Andalusia. It was built between 1959 and 1969 and in 2010 work was carried out to improve and modernize the dam. It has an Interpretation Center where some of the tools used in its construction are exhibited, which had its complexities due to the high temperatures.
