Losar de la Vera is located in the southern foothills of the Gredos mountain range, in a privileged natural setting that defines its identity. A route dotted with cliffs and cliffs through which streams and river gorges with crystal-clear waters flow. It is undoubtedly a natural environment of great beauty nestled between the Sierra de Gredos and the Sierra de Tormantos.

A stunning riverside walk. The lavender and Spanish Broom was particularly vibrant on the 10th May.

I am not sure if this bridge is Roman but it is very old and beautiful. It is the best way to cross the Jaranda Gorge when starting a route on foot or by bicycle.

Following the well-known Route of the Trabuquete you will find this wonderful pool with a natural waterfall on the river Garganta de Jaranda. Undoubtedly the highlight of the route, not only for its turquoise waters but also for the beautiful landscape that surrounds it.
