Casas-Ibáñez is a municipality in the province of Albacete, located in the valley of the Cabriel river. If you want to visit it, I advise you to park on the outskirts, since the streets are very narrow and there are not many places where you can leave your car. There are several marked paths that you can walk along the top of the hill and enjoy the best views of the reservoir. They are a real wonder!

The reservoir was built in 1964 to regulate the flow of the Júcar River and guarantee the supply of water to the population and farmland in the area. It has a storage capacity of about 100 million cubic meters of water. The area is popular for water sports such as fishing, canoeing and windsurfing.
