Here you will find a small town surrounded by agricultural fields. Just outside the city, there is a monument to the pilots of Spain. It is a real retired military aircraft. In the other direction you will find a monument to cyclist Lance Armstrong.

This town dates back to pre-Roman times and it seems that not much has changed here in many years. The Baltanás Wineries are the most popular site in the city but the church of San Millán, the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Revilla and the Hermitage of San Gregorio are also important places to visit.

Here there are 374 traditional underground wineries and they stand out as the main attraction of the town of Baltanás. They are registered as Assets of Cultural Interest.

In the urban area is the church of San Millán, the Palace-Hospital of Santo Tomás and the Convent of San Francisco. Baltanás also has excavated cellars declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.
