In the town of Villargordo, we find these old washhouses where women once came to wash their families' clothes. Today, they are a source of abundant fresh water for refilling water containers on the hot days of the eternal Andalusian summer.

Porcuna is a small town and a municipality (municipio) in southern Spain with 5,907 inhabitants (as of 2024) in the west of the province of Jaén in the autonomous community of Andalusia.

This underpass serves as a continuation of the Vía Verde del Aceite (Olive Oil Greenway) and also coincides with the passage of both agricultural and conventional vehicles to cross to the other side. It is a wide passageway that easily accommodates two vehicles in both directions.

The Olive Oil Green Route passes under the olive grove highway through a small tunnel wide enough to accommodate both vehicles and cyclists, as well as other agricultural vehicles that share the area to cross to the other side of the highway.

Next to the Torre del Homenaje and the Mengíbar Town Hall, we find this 3-star hotel built on an old city fortress dating from between the 12th and 13th centuries.

This impressive building, built in the Town Hall Square of Mengíbar, is the most characteristic and emblematic element of the city. This tower is the only element that is currently preserved from an ancient castle that was located in this place.
