Way to Steinbichel: Walk from the center of Mietraching to the Rusel power plant. After the power station, turn left over the Höllbach bridge and then immediately right into the forest path. Follow the path straight uphill until it crosses a gravel path. Here a clearly visible footpath goes to the right to the summit cross. The way there is not signposted.

Nice, quiet place with a snack bar and shelter. Even if the view is limited, the climb is worth it. Next to the cross is a beautifully decorated tree at Christmas time 🎄

You can't see the cross from the main path... At the top of the hill there is a small turnoff to the cross and the hut. Perfect for making a snack, with a shelter.
