The Herradura bridge spans the Guadalentín canyon at the end of the Bolera reservoir. The construction is from the time of the swamp, when the water from the dam flooded the valley and buried the Molinillo bridge, which was near the confluence of the Guadalentín and Guazalamanco, through which the cereal roads and the herds that passed between the towns of the valleys and the farmhouses of the mountains.
