Beautiful area, hiking with the sound of water rippling, what more could you want? When we were at the top we hiked through the Erlenbacher Tobel. Also highly recommended. Nice and shady even in summer. You can go swimming. Then we took the boat back to Bürkliplatz.

The Dorfbachtobel leads from Meilen up to the hamlet of Toggwil. It surprises with an unpredictable route and an ambience that is reminiscent of the valleys in Ticino. Crystal clear water rushes over eroded stones, dense, wildly overgrown slopes, waterfalls and stone bridges. Idyllic. Refreshingly cool in summer, now sunny and warm in spring.

Dorfbachtobel (Küssnachter Tobel): The Küsnachter Dorfbach is a stream in the Swiss canton of Zurich. It flows into Lake Zurich in Küsnacht. South of Zumikon the stream turns to the southwest and flows through the heavily indented and wooded Küsnachter Tobel. At the Obere Mühle the stream leaves the Tobel, crosses the village of Küsnacht and flows into Lake Zurich at the Küsnachter Horn.
