The tree is several meters wide due to its enormous plank roots on the ground and a group of several people can comfortably fit in front of it. An impressive photo opportunity.

The waterfall is in two parts. One part falls next to the other into the river. The best view is from the opposite bank. A few steps away there is a kind of covered wooden perch that is suitable as a place to take a break.

Here is the entrance to the national park. Buses end here, parking lot for cars is nearby, registration and SSL reception are here. Opposite a viewing platform, so you have a nice view of the area. You often don't see Mount Kinabalu, which is discreetly shrouded in fog.

The Liwagu Trail starts here and leads 5.6 km to the bridge on the Silau Silau River. A nice alternative to Power Station Road if you want to go through the park to the gate. Unfortunately the trail was closed at the time.

Small viewing platform above the Timpophon Gate. You can also buy small things to eat there. But watch out, the squirrels there are not afraid to pick up their share.

Nice photo stop with great views of Mount Kinabalu, the waterfall and the surrounding valleys. There is also a memorial stone commemorating the victims of the 2015 earthquake. And toilets are also being built right next to it

This is where the ascent to Mount Kinabula starts, from here you need a permit and your guide to continue. There is a small shop where you can buy a few things. You can hike along the trails to the gate without a permit or go up the street.
