It is thought to date from the 14th or 15th century. The first mention of Occi dates back to 1589. The village was officially deserted when its sole inhabitant died there in 1918, leaving the village empty.

Beautiful but also well-visited lake. Located about 200 meters below Lac de Capitello. It can be reached from the GR20 by descending to the Brèche de Capitello or by climbing through the Restonica valley.
Old fortress above the city. The access is chargeable, but the entry also includes a visit to the adjacent (air-conditioned) museum. It has a nice view over the city.
