Very well preserved mining settlement and mine site. But it is also very touristy here. There is even a pedestrian zone that seems very oversized for the place, with countless shops, and also a mining museum (WC).

When I visited in July 2024, it didn't look so great here. But there was a new picnic area (picture) and a wooden hut was under construction. The hut will probably be a toilet. Camping here might be difficult as many areas are gravelled. Perhaps someone can add information here in 2025 when the construction work is finished.

Nice place to camp, right by the water and very quiet. Nobody comes by here, as the place is at the end of a dead end behind a railway crossing. The dead end leads to a field. You are only seen by the guests on the regular regional train. :-)
