Kvinnherad Church is a historic white stone long church dating back to around 1250 A.D. It is one of Norway's most beautiful medieval churches, featuring original Gothic portals and windows and a richly decorated Baroque interior. The church is closely tied to the nearby Barony Rosendal, as it served as a private church for the baron's family for over two centuries, and it contains the burial chapel of the noble Rosenkrantz family.

This region on the Hardangerfjord is known for its fruit growing ("Norway's orchard") and is an important economic sector. Apples, pears, plums, and cherries are primarily cultivated. The fruit tree blossoms in spring are famous, as is the apple wine (cider), which can be purchased in many places.

The Galeas Gurine is a beautifully restored wooden sailing ship that brings Rosendal’s rich maritime history to life. Originally built in 1875, this traditional vessel now offers scenic fjord cruises, giving visitors a taste of Norway’s seafaring past.
