This small picnic area is a great place to take a break along the trail. With open views over Hjälstaviken and plenty of space to sit, it’s perfect for a relaxed stop in nature.

Great turnaround point for roadcycling from Uppsala. Unfortunately no cafe at the moment

The bird watching house is easily accessible via a beautiful footbridge. Very nicely done with information boards, although only in Swedish. Don't forget your binoculars!

A bathing area with various jetties and bathing islands. However, the jetties are only accessible during the summer months and are closed in October.

There are several art installations on this path, including a steel block in interaction with nature that is constantly changing, a metal sculpture of a chair carved out of a massive tree trunk and "singing stones" that hang over the path.

A viewing balcony with a beautiful view over the lake, slightly away from the street. Perfect for resting, watching the birds in the reeds and enjoying the sun and fresh air.

A pretty 15th century castle used as a conference center and which previously housed the adult education center.

Really nice recreational area with a lunch place, a kiosk, and easy access to the water to go swimming. Ideal picknick area for warm weather.
