Upper Brakkåfallet is located a few hundred metres from the Z819 highway. You will find an information board and signage close to the start of the path. This path will take you the few hundred metres to a beautiful waterfall. Make sure you don't miss the lower falls too.

You can make the detour but it's not spectacular.

Anyone passing through might want to stop here. It's pretty, but not spectacular by Swedish standards.

The short, steep hike to the Brakkåfallet waterfall leads along a small path that requires surefootedness. After a short time you reach the lower Brakkåfallet and just a few minutes later the upper Brakkåfallet. A short but worthwhile excursion.

Here the hiking trail crosses the roaring waterfall over a long suspension bridge.

Small stop with Stuga and many paths.

South of Formofoss, Sandøla plunges 34 meters into a narrow rocky gorge. In the rock you can see beautiful whirlpool pots. At Kv 4258, which branches off from the E 6, there is a small parking lot, from which a steep path leads down to the waterfall.

Not far from the E6, it's worth it!
