Upper Brakkåfallet is located a few hundred metres from the Z819 highway. You will find an information board and signage close to the start of the path. This path will take you the few hundred metres to a beautiful waterfall. Make sure you don't miss the lower falls too.

Check opening days. Wednesday to Sunday. I found it closed and had my lunch postponed. For return journey to Vemdalsskalet, avoid the western route, if you are moving on xcountryskies. It ends in the famous Hildings backe, suitable for slalom skiing.
