Former tufa quarry, where "cauliflower" tufa remains can still be seen. A small steep path leads to a viewpoint over the Upper Gönniger Lake and explanations of the formation of tufa.

The descent all the way down is particularly recommended.

When I was there in winter there was no fog - but it was still a nice location with seating that was easy to reach via the trail.

The Maultaschenwirt is located in the large square in front of the cave. Right next to it is a nice children's playground.

The source cave of the Seebach 🌊 is not accessible! The entrance is barred by an iron gate. Bröller is the Swabian name for periodically pouring karst springs, which are generally referred to as hunger wells. As with every roarer, this is a water cave that is only active temporarily (after heavy rainfall or melting snow), and which gets its name from the loud noise (“roaring”) of the water.
