A beautiful gorge where it stays relatively cool on hot days. The GR54 trails through the gorge are easily accessible. The water is easily accessible, although swimming is not recommended due to a dam upstream that opens periodically.

Thanks to the paths and trails that follow the course of the Sarenne, it is possible to hike as close as possible to the river bed. To add height to your hike and see the gorges from above, you can make a loop by climbing to the Signal de l'Homme.

The Bec de l'Aigle offers a lovely viewpoint if you ignore the high-voltage cables that scar the landscape and the noise of the vehicles passing on the D531 below.

If you want to see the Bruyant gorges in all their splendor, the Bec de l'Aigle is the place to go. It makes a good hiking destination from Lans-en-Vercors.
