1500년대의 웅장하고 그림 같은 고대 성터로, 폐허가 된 탑들이 있으며 바돌라토의 스코파 남작 부인이 소유했던 곳입니다. 참고한 문헌에 따르면 아래층에는 병사들의 숙소와 마구간이 있었고 위층에는 남작 부인의 방이 있었다고 합니다. 지금, 실제로 현장에서 성을 보면, 언급된 내용에도 불구하고, 그 규모를 고려할 때 "병사들"과 "마구간"이 어떻게 그곳에 자리 잡을 수 있었는지 상상하기 어렵습니다. 왜냐하면 그 용도에 대해 이야기되는 것에 비해 실제로 매우 작아 보이기 때문입니다. 하지만 바로 그렇기 때문에 그 시대의 모습으로 보고 상상하기에 매우 좋습니다. 물론 그녀와 성 주변에는 여러 전설이 있습니다. 독실한 신자였던 그녀가 젊은 남자들과 어울리는 것을 마다하지 않았다는 것(아마도 위층의 그 방들에서?) 그리고 그 후 그들을 습지에 사라지게 했다는 것, 또한 그녀의 유령이 밤에 성 주변과 라치나 숲 전체를 배회한다고 합니다. 직접 와서 믿어보세요.

The castle, used as a museum, where Gioacchino Murat was imprisoned, was built in 1492 by Ferrante d'Aragona. It is a quadrangular structure overlooking the sea on one side and surrounded by a deep moat on the other. Inside there are remains of a sculpture by Antonio Canova (the original was destroyed during the passage of Giuseppe Garibaldi, only a part representing a helmet remained intact). Access to the interior was via a drawbridge between two towers, now replaced by a traditional limestone bridge. The castle is dedicated to Murat, who was shot here on October 13, 1815.
