Magnificent place! The Lande Forêt pond is located in the heart of the Grais departmental forest. By bike, it is accessible via a secure route from the Briouze-Bagnoles greenway in Orne Normandy. An interpretive walking trail and wooden decks allow you to go around the pond. Picnic tables, bicycle boxes and a shelter are available at the entrance to the site.

Surrounded by trees in the forest of Grais, this magnificent lake is a real pleasure for walkers. With benches to rest and places to picnic, you will really enjoy this lake.

Many forest trails suitable for trail running

Located in front of the castle, this irregular granite church is dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption. Built in the 15th century and restored by a team of volunteers, let yourself be surprised by the color palette.

This pond is located in the middle of the Grais national forest. It can be accessed in several ways: by a small road or by the numerous forest trails. There are picnic tables for an ideal break in a bucolic setting.

The Romanesque chapel is one of the last vestiges of the priory of GOULT which depended on the abbey of LONLAY founded by Guillaume de Bellême in the 11th century. Six capitals arranged on each side of the chapel porch make it remarkable for their exceptional originality. The themes are inspired by an oriental bestiary and the art of illumination. The three capitals on the left represent: - the fight of a bird against a quadruped - a bird pecking at a rod and two lions facing each other - intertwined birds and a small quadruped On the right, the capitals evoke the theme of hunting: - an archer on foot and a knight ringing the olifant, both converging towards a deer - a hunter brandishing a lance to strike a wolf slaughtering a goat - birds and a fox

The construction of this castle, one of the most important in the region, began in 1404. There remains from this period the battlement with battlements and machicolations, accessible to visitors. You have to climb to observe the footprint left, according to legend, by the fairy of Argouges ... and above all to discover the magnificent panorama. The pavilions at each corner date from the end of the 16th century, the main buildings from the 18th. They were rebuilt after a violent fire as well as the stables built at the same time. The site, restored after the bombing in 1944, is listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments. The castle houses the town hall and the prehistoric museum in its basement. The 17th century park is attributed to Le Nôtre. There remains a beautiful perspective of trees more than a hundred years old, at the back of the house.
