A very nice section of the route! The asphalt is unfortunately quite rough and brittle…exactly the right terrain for my gravel bike 😎 It's definitely not fun on a road bike, but definitely doable.

Corsica is full of majestic waterfalls, but the hike through the Ucelluline waterfall is a complete experience: the historic village of Santa-Maria-Poggio, the Genoese bridge of Bucatoggio or the ruins of a typical village of the Isle of Beauty, this hike is rich in discoveries. Come and meet the traces of this jewel of the Costa Verde, hidden on the edge of the magnificent Corniche road and offering a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea!

Here you can make a nice little hike. At one point the macchia has overgrown the path. Luckily there was an alternative way.

Behind the tower there is a hiking trail that leads you through the typical Corsican maquis. It smells, it rustles, it spikes ;) In addition, there are always panoramic views of the Étang de Diana with its reed and water landscape.

Nice destination for a hike on the Étang Diane. There is a rope hanging from the old Genoese tower, so you can climb it at your own risk. Great view of the cape from the tower.
