On the hill overlooking the small town of Vallery stand the Condé church and castle dating from the 16th century, which has become a prestigious area for receptions. The small town of Vallery does not lack charm.

At the end of a small hill, at the edge of a wood, the Saint Martin church dominates the village of Montmachoux and the surrounding plain. The village was for a long time located on the royal border (in the 10th and 11th centuries) at the marches of Burgundy and bore the name “Saint-Michel” or “Monte-Michao” which would become Montmachoux. Built in sandstone, the Church of Saint-Martin has been able to retain all of its authenticity over time. A restoration program, funded in particular by the Heritage Foundation, is underway in order to save this medieval building, which is fairly simple in structure but of good size. The small cemetery on its side offers a panoramic view of the Gâtinais plain and notably includes the graves of 3 Senegalese skirmishers.

Built on the banks of the Orvanne, the castle was originally a feudal mansion built in the 10th or 11th century. Louis IX and Queen Blanche of Castile stayed there several times. It has undergone several reconstructions over the centuries. Private property that cannot be visited.
