You can hike or walk in countless directions here and it's an experience in all of them. Whether to the Limes replica of the good Romans, the Köppel (my favorite), the NR5 towards Rengsdorf, the Aubach valley up to Hardert or to the Dreiwetterhütte. And on quiet days just around the lake and to the restaurant. Simply great.

The highlight should actually be the path through the valley and not a single point. Well-developed dirt road through an idyllic valley. I would go again.

The swan pond is surrounded by trees and is full of small and large fish. On the edge there is the restaurant of the same name with a great beer garden for refreshments.

An idyllic and quiet place... Very nice ! The paths around the pond(s) are not suitable for touring bikes. Get off and explore on foot... simply beautiful!
