Lake Obergail is a tiny mountain lake nestled in the alpine pastures of the Obergailer Alm. The view from here is magnificent! The "floating Morenden table" is particularly fascinating – ideal for a short break to enjoy the tranquility of the mountain landscape or to have a snack on the raft.

A very beautiful alpine pasture. When the umbrellas are open, there's also something to eat.

The wooden hut at the Steineckenalm looks almost like a dwarf's cottage. Constructed of wood and nestled in the middle of an idyllic alpine meadow, it invites you to enjoy a snack on a hike through the beautiful landscape. It's closed on Wednesdays, but otherwise it's a great place to stop during the day.

The hiking trail here leads directly along the banks of the Gail, Carinthia's third-longest river, offering beautiful views of the river, which curves here.

You can reach the Bruggen waterfall in the Obergailer valley via a hiking trail or a climbing route. It is definitely worth it to see how the Obergailer stream plunges so impressively into the depths.

Very delicious food: regional and fresh. The cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarren are fantastic. 🤩 😋
