Kotka Market Square is the lively heart of the city, where locals and visitors gather for fresh produce, local products, and seasonal events. It's a great place to take a break during a bike ride, grab a coffee, and enjoy the atmosphere. The square is surrounded by shops and cafés, and on market days you’ll find everything from berries to baked goods. It’s also a good starting point for exploring Kotka’s nearby parks and waterfront areas. Bicycle parking is available, and the flat terrain makes access easy.

Kotka Church is a red brick church built between 1897 and 1898 and seats 1,500. The benches are a bit narrow so it's difficult to sit there for a long time. But the magnificent church in the center of Kotka is worth a look when it's open and you can enter.
