10월 21, 2025, Mount's Bay Cycle Path
In Penzance, you have to be careful to find the bike path. The route isn't well signposted here. Once you find it, it's easy to cycle and offers a beautiful view of St. Michael's Mount and the bay. As a cyclist, you also have to be careful of the many pedestrians here. The path isn't that wide.

8월 10, 2025, View of St Michael's Mount
A very lovely view can be had from here of St Michael's Mount. Accessible during mid to low tide, it is a beautiful place to visit via its granite causeway. Go and see this iconic rocky island crowned by a medieval church and castle. One of the 43 unbridged islands in the UK that is accessible by foot.

6월 7, 2025, View of St Michael's Mount
If asked where a famous island was dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, most people would probably answer the internationally renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mont Saint-Michel in France, located off the coast of the English Channel on the border between Normandy and Brittany. But even here in southwest England – beyond the European mainland, off the British Isles – a "St. Michael's Mount" can be found.

9월 2, 2024, Tredrea Lane
Tredrea Lane is a quiet, undulating and beautiful road between St Erth and Gwallon in southern Cornwall. It's a lovely place to ride, and hopefully the caravans will stick to the A30 which runs roughly parallel. This is part of the National Cycle Network long distance route 3 which connects Bristol and Land's End.

9월 20, 2023, Porthleven Harbour
Beautiful little coastal village lying on the south of Cornwall. We stayed here on night two of our West Kernow Way adventure at the Harbour Inn. They were bike friendly and served great food. We watched surfers in the sea and the sun going down before tucking into local fish and chips.

9월 20, 2023, Penrose Estate
On Saturday mornings Penrose becomes the site of West Cornwall's Parkrun with around 200 runners taking on the 5km course each week. The running route follows the old Victorian roadway through woodland and parkland with views of Loe Pool and beyond. It is very busy at that time.

The age of this megalithic formation is estimated to be between 3,000 and 4,000 years. There are several legends surrounding this cultural site. For one thing, women can become pregnant if they crawl through the "Devil's Eye" - the hole stone - seven times during a full moon. On the other hand, children are protected from illnesses when they are passed through the hole. Well, no matter what faith you follow, the site is a fascinating place. This site can be visited at any time of the day or night - but one should not be disappointed by the "size" of the site. Although the megaliths appear huge in photos, in reality they are only between 1 m and 1.5 m high.

9월 18, 2023, View of Drift Reservoir and Dam
View point of Drift Dam and Reservoir. The reservoir is the main water source for Penwith and construction was completed in 1961. Prior to the flooding of the valley for the reservoir, trees were cleared and buildings were left. Occasionally the water level drops low enough to see the remains of the buildings which were flooded.
