Cranfleet is a short navigational cut off the River Trent. There is a lock here to allow boats to pass.

The view is worth the climb.

Situated just 2 miles from the M1 motorway and a stone's throw away from Loughborough, the peak offers superb accessibility for those seeking fabulous views with minimal effort.

This trail is 3km from Staunton Harold to Lount, and is a hard packed gravel surface. It winds its way through fields, pine forests, and silver birch. There are a few places where the trail floods but you can cycle through.

This is a gravel trail that connects the top part of the trail into a figure of eight type shape. Watch out for the pot holes on this section
