This special viewpoint is located in Fafião, a historic village in the parish of Cabril, Montalegre. This viewpoint is unique in that it sits atop a gigantic granite block, connected to another rock by a small iron bridge.

Poço Verde de Fafião is a stunning lagoon in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, known for its crystal-clear waters and accessible trails that lead to a true natural paradise.

Warning: This is an extremely dangerous location, with a significant risk of falling. Due to erosion, the rocks are extremely smooth, making them slippery even in dry weather.

There are a few parking spaces at the Sete Lagoas bar, but there aren't many, and it gets crowded on weekends.

Impressive waterfalls with several pools, accessible with a bit of climbing. Some climbing aids have been anchored into the rock. However, since the waterfall is located near a road, you're rarely alone here. And there have been fatalities here, as the climb down to the lagoons is not without its dangers.

They may not be as beautiful as the emerald pools of Tramonti di sotto but I must say that the place is nice!
