The location of the Hotel Weisshorn is as spectacular as the mountains of the Val d'Anniviers. It is located on the side of the valley, at an altitude of 2,337 metres, surrounded by majestic four-thousanders. The hotel was first built in 1882 and was owned by the same family for nearly 80 years. It was destroyed by fire and later rebuilt. A curiosity: the piano inside the hotel was transported on the backs of 6 people in 1891. Next to the hotel there is also a small alpine botanical garden, planted in 1885 by Henry Correvon, a botanist from Geneva.

Ideal departure from the forest car park (take the road from ST-Luc towards Chandolin then about 1 kilometer branch off to the right) then departure by bike two choices either towards Tignousa or directly towards the Weisshorn hotel. Classic hotel built 1880 far above St-Luc. Perfect goal for a walk with snowshoes during the winter season. The hotel can also be reached on foot from the top of the St-Luc cable car. There is an outside terrace if the weather is nice enough, or a panoramic room to enjoy a drink, a home made blueberry pie or a meal. Since the hotel is not on the ski domain, it´s always quiet.

High up on a rocky spur above Crans-Montana sits the cozy cabin Cabane de Violettes. From the sun terrace you have a great view of the Swiss four-thousander: From the Dufourspitze over the Weisshorn and the Matterhorn, your gaze wanders to the Mont-Blanc.
