The Ahauser Mühle together with the old manor. A very contemplative facility with great photo opportunities. Warning: people live here with a right to privacy. The original mill building from 1694 was replaced by the current brick building in 1901. The mill operation was stopped in 1974. Coming from Ahausen, it is best to take the road in a south-westerly direction back to Hellwege.

A very nice hiking destination. The lake is a bit smaller and relaxed in about 10-15 minutes. You can only really get to the shore at this point and at a small bank on the north-east side (see further highlight). Otherwise, the other sides of the bank are gardens of holiday and private properties and are therefore not accessible. Thus, when hiking around the lake, you unfortunately do not have a continuous view of the water. In addition to the lawn and small sandy bays to play with, there is a kiosk, beer garden and a few parking spaces.

The hike around the Bullensee and through the moor is highly recommended. For those interested in nature, there is hardly a more vivid way to hike through a moor / high moor and observe the typical plants and stadiums.
