A hall church dating from 1769-1771. The east tower with a pointed roof dates from 1827. The interior features late Baroque furnishings. A remarkable baptismal angel from the 18th century. Tours are available by appointment.

Lyonel Charles Adrian Feininger (* July 17, 1871 in New York; † January 13, 1956 in the same place) also visited Niederzimmern. On his bicycle tours, the Weimar-based artist also captured the Wigberti Church in Niederzimmern on his sketch pad and then created a woodcut from it. Redesigned in April 2023, the square features seating and a beautifully designed transformer house. It also serves as a rest area for hikers and cyclists. A special eye-catcher: A bronze sculpture will be installed on the square, located on the street "Am Gänserasen."
