A recreation of the old mill, along with the boarding house that farmers used to stay at after bringing their grain here to milled while they waited. Great views of the bison prairie and informative signs.

One of the nice benches they have along the trail that you can relax and look at the water, or in my case today ice.

This is the Blue Earth County Fairgrounds and an all year campground (maybe closed in winter, didn't find anyone to talk to)

Nice place to stop right along the trail. Good walleye sandwich, nice outside seating.

A nice hike out onto a peninsula loop from the campground. Mosquitos were nuts today, I'd like to come back in a less buggy time.

I need to come back here when the mosquitos aren't trying to fly off with me. I'd like to see where the hiking trails go and get them added to OpenStreetMaps

It's now a big hole in the road, can't get close to it, but I wanted to see it and reminisce about the pies across the river that I have eaten. R.I.P. Pie Shop!
