This park preserves and protects the home of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, who is best known for her Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Yearling. Visitors can tour the property as well as access Orange Lake, which the park backs on to.

Heagy-Burry Park sits on the banks of Orange Lake in Marion County, Florida. It's got a small boat ramp, picnic area, and restrooms. There are also a couple of restaurants next to it if you arrive hungry.

Depot Park is a recreational park complex set around a scenic lake. It has two nearby museums, lawns, picnic areas, trails, and play areas, and is a popular place in downtown Gainesville. It is conveniently located on the Depot Avenue Rails-to-Trails Path.
