The second half of the trail (from the Bird Tower) appears to be barely used and no longer maintained. The path is partially overgrown, and some of the wooden planks are already missing.

With a bench to enjoy, those who dare and have a head for heights can go all the way to the top of the cliff, great photo opportunity.

Annsjön is a highly recommended birding spot in the region. Because of the few well-developed hiking trails, the variety of tours is unfortunately still a bit small. Still, it's worth a visit, especially as a nice break from a trip to nearby Norway.
